CUT TO YOU | First Day

Hi everyone!

I am back today with another share for
CUT TO YOU from Created by Gwen.

I've used the Circle Star Combo Custom Cut
for my layout today,
documenting my son's first day of school
earlier this year.

I've teamed it with lots of Dusty Attic chipboard. I've used the 'First Day' piece as my title, as well as some 'Star Frames' and 'Mini Viewfinders'. I offset the biggest Star Frame to be able to see the star shape of the Circle Star Combo Custom Cut underneath.

I've used some Dusty Attic 'Designer Discs- Numbers Grid'
chipboard, and I was really excited
to find they fit the shape of the circles of the
Circle Star Combo Custom Cut perfectly!

I backed the Custom Cut with some scrap patterned papers,
and also added some stickers and flair
 from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I added my journaling onto a journaling spot from D'Lish Scraps.
Once again this fit into the circles perfectly!

Head over to the shop to check out the new releases!

Thanks for looking

CUT TO YOU | Happy Heart

Hi everyone!
I am back today with another share for
CUT TO YOU from Created by Gwen.

I've used the Happy Heart Custom Cut file.

I have backed the 'happy' word with patterned paper,
then painted the outline.
I have backed the 'heart' word with the same navy cardstock
as my background,
and off set it to add a drop shadow.

I've used various papers from the gorgeous new
'Midnight' collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.
I fussy cut the florals then lifted the edges up off
the page for some extra dimension.

I've also used a mono print under the navy cardstock.

I've added some flowers from Little Birdy Crafts.

Head over to the CUT TO YOU shop to check
out the new designs.
Don't forget there is a couple more days to order the
Be Brave Be Strong cut file free with any purchase
until the end of October.

Until next time

CUT TO YOU | Dream Big

Hi everyone!
Today I am back with another share for CUT TO YOU.

My layout has been inspired by the October
challenge at Scrap The Girls.
CUT TO YOU is sponsoring the challenge this month.

I created my background with my gel plate, inspired by the purple and blue colours of the mood board.

For my clusters I used the Geo Floral Leaves Custom Cut file.
I backed the cut files with different patterns of pink papers. I also drew on some faux stitching lines with a pen to add some definition.

I also used the Celebration Flowers Custom Cut files in my clusters,
which I painted black for some contrast.

I used the #dreambig Custom Cut from the
So Loved Hashtags Custom Cut pack for my title.
I outlined it in black for some definition.

I added a variety of flowers from Little Birdy Crafts.

I also used some punchinella and
navy glitter dots from D'Lish Scraps.

Head over to the CUT TO YOU shop to check out
all of Gwen's beautiful designs.
Look out for the 'Be Brave Be Strong' cut file that is
FREE with any purchase for the month of October.

Don't forget to have a go at the
Scrap The Girls challenge too.

Until next time,

CUT To YOU | At 39

Today I have another share for CUT To YOU
from Created By Gwen.

My layout is titled "@39"
- a selfie from my
birthday a few months ago.

This month CUT to YOU is sponsoring the September challenge at "Made To Scrap - The Aussie Way".
Here's a look at the challenge mood board. I was inspired
by the mix of rainbow colours and black for my layout.

I used the Bouquet Custom Cut as the focus of my layout.

Firstly I coloured the custom cut with acrylic paint.

Once it was dry I then traced around the edges
with a Sharpie pen to add some definition.

I stuck it down onto some black cardstock
and added some splatters.

I also added some more detail with a Feathers 02 Custom Cut. I kept these cuts white and backed them with some glitter cardstock.

I added a yellow heart from Charm's Creations,
and some Little Birdy Crafts flowers.

I used some stamps from Aall & Create to stamp out
a butterfly and hearts onto teal card, I then fussy cut
them out and added them to my page.

I also added some neon enamel dots around the page.

I added some quote stickers and a flair
from Flutterby Designs.

Head over to the CUT To YOU shop to check out what's new.
You still have a few days to play along with the
Made To Scrap - the Aussie Way! September challenge.

Until next time

Scrap The Girls September Challenge

Today I am playing along with the September challenge
at Scrap The Girls.

Its a sketch challenge this month, and with the title of
'Grunge Princess' I definitely felt I needed to give it a go.

Here's a look at the sketch-

I have scrapped a couple of really fun photos of myself with the one and only Dina Wakley. She was recently in Australia for a series of classes, and I got to spend 2 days being inspired.

Of course I just had to use some Dina Wakley Media acrylic paints on my layout! I've used Marine for the base layer, then Blackberry and Peacock through a TCW splatters stencil.

I've also used some Colour Blast Colour Paste in 'Bling'
through a Dusty Attic 'Burlap' stencil.

I added some round flowers from Little Birdy Crafts
and some resin flowers from D'Lish Scraps.

I used some American Crafts and Basic Grey
alpha stickers for my title.

CUT To YOU | Create Art

Today I am back with another share for CUT To YOU.

This layout is inspired by the September challenge mood board
which CUT To YOU is sponsoring this month.

Here's a look at the mood board

I was immediately drawn to the tattoo image in the mood board,
and Gwen has designed this amazing
Flourish Custom Cut and Digital File.

I painted the Flourish custom cut black, and added some watercolours
on my white cardstock for my background.

I embellished with lots of paper flowers from Kaisercraft and Little Birdy Crafts, and resin flowers from D'Lish Scraps.

I added some puffy stickers for my title.

I added some Flair buttons from Flutterby Designs.

I finished off my layout with some hand-written
creative-themed quotes around my page.

Head over to the CUT To YOU shop to check out all the new designs that Gwen has added, and make sure to check out the
Made To Scrap - The Aussie Way! challenge this month.

Until next time,

Scrap The Girls August Challenge

Today I am squeezing in a last-minute entry to the
August challenge at Scrap The Girls.

My layout is of a photo of me and fellow creative
Emma Zappone, also known as Emzascrapper,
at one of her classes at my LSS.

I created my background with Dina Wakley Media acrylic paint in Fuchsia, then added some black and white paint stripes through a Tim Holtz stencil.

I have used plenty of Aussie products on my page -
a heart from Charm's Creations,
Uniquely Creative and Kaisercraft dies,
Imaginarium Designs chipboard,
acrylic stars from Corbett Creations,
and a flair and page tab from Flutterby Designs.

Most of my crafting time is spent on my own at home , but I do enjoy being able to get the chance to spend time with other creative people and being able to inspire each other.
