Scrap The Boys July Challenge

The colour palette of this month's Scrap The Boys moodboard challenge is full of orange and yellow, with a touch of black and white.

Here is my layout.

I thought the quote on the moodboard was very appropriate for a
'boy' page, so I stencilled it as my title.

I liked the brick wall paper, so I decided to make my title and background look a bit like graffiti on the wall!

Sassy Scrappers July Moodboard Challenge

It's a very dramatic moodboard for the Sassy Scrapper July challenge. Isn't it beautiful?!

Here is my layout.

I was inspired by the hearts, the flowers, the wedding theme and the colour palette of the makeup image- the black, white, red and gold, with a touch of blue.

I used a Heidi Swapp heart stencil as a mask and misted the background.

I've used lots of flowers in different shapes and sizes. I've also used some tiny word stickers, washi, puffy stickers and rubons.

StudioFourteen40 Challenge #3

StudioFourteen40 is holding a BINGO challenge this month.

Here is my layout. I've used the row across with-

I've used a StudioFourteen40 flair button, as well as some Kaisercraft blooms, and a heart from Charm's Creations.

The quote is a Project Life card that I think is from the 'Lucky Charm' kit. My title word 'Dream' is from the Dear Lizzy Serendipity watercolour words pack.

D'Lish Scraps July Inspiration Board Challenge

I couldn't wait to get my D'Lish Scraps 'Just Add Paper' kit for this month to use it for this month's Inspiration Board Challenge. Could a kit and a sketch be any more matched? I feel like the sketch was designed for the kit (or is it the other way around??!!)

Here is my layout.

I used almost everything from the JAP kit, the only other things I added are a Charm's Creations star, some grey Studio Calico star rubons, and some washi.

I used the twine from the kit to hand-stitch a border.

Scrap The Girls July Challenge

The challenge this month at Scrap The Girls is a sketch-

Here is my layout. I've rotated the sketch 90 degrees.

This layout actually came together really quickly, and it feels good when everything just falls into place!

It usually takes me a few days to finish a layout, but this one took just a couple of hours straight, from start to finish.

Kraft + July Challenge: Mustard Explosion

Another cracker of a challenge at Kraft + this month!

Here is my layout. I've been inspired mostly by the colour scheme in the photo - varying shades of yellow/mustard/ gold, with pops of black and white. I used some circular shapes from the picture, and twine and cotton inspired by the reels in the photo. And I loved the paint challenge - there's something about yellow paint on a layout which just makes me think 'HAPPY!'

Close ups and journalling...
