More Than Words September challenge

This month's challenge at More Than Words is using one of my
favourite techniques - GRUNGE!!
I love getting messy in my art - that's half the fun!

The other criteria for the challenge is to use the word 'FEARLESS'.

I love creating grungy masculine pages, but for this challenge I decided to do something a bit different and create some girl grunge!!

To create my grungy background I made some prints using my gel plate. I really love how the plate creates a distressed print.
I then ripped up those pages, added some stamping, stencilling and splatters of gesso.

I matted my photo with some glitter foam and hessian
to add some different textures.

I used embellishments from D-lish Scraps,
Kit The Habit and The Resin Rainbow.
I also added some Tim Holtz quote stickers.

I added some thread, a Charm's Creations arrow and a flair from Flutterby Designs for some more texture.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Aus September challenge - DT share

What a gorgeous mood board this month at
Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia!

Here is my DT page-

I was inspired by the paint splashes in the mood board to scrap this photo of a paint splashing piece I recently made!
So much fun!!!

I've used a gorgeous piece of Kaisercraft
kraft music note paper for my background.

I've included the rainbow colours in my embellishments
to highlight my rainbow painting.

I've used lots of Aussie hand-made products from
Charm's Creations, Flutterby Designs,
Corbett Creations and D-lish Scraps.

Scrap The Boys September challenge - DT share

This month's theme at Scrap the Boys is

Here is my DT layout-

I've used papers and ephemera from the
awesome Kaisercraft 'Factory 42' collection.

I've created a mixed media background using Colour Blast 'Caribbean' Colour Spray and 'Leather' Colour Paste.

I've added some stamping with
some stamps from Viva Las Vegastamps.

My title is a Dusty Attic chipboard piece which I coloured with Dina Wakley acrylic paints. I've also used cogs from Imaginarium Designs and chevrons from Memory Maze, also coloured with the same acrylic paints.

I hope you can join in with the challenge this month!
