Scrapping Outback December challenge

This month's challenge at Scrapping Outback has been on my to-do list all month, and now that the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over, I've finally had a chance to play.

This month's white with a twist challenge is

And here is what I came up with

I scraped some black gesso onto some cardstock as a base.

My chippie title 'Fabulous' is from WOW: Words Or Whatever, and I've also used some Imaginarium Designs dress chipboard because this is a photo of me trying on my wedding dress. I heat embossed all my chipboard.

I've also added some resin flowers and sequins for some more bling!

Scrap The Boys December challenge - DT share

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Scrap The Boys! This is the December challenge-

And here is my DT page-

I've used papers from Hip Kit and Simple Stories.

I've used some chippie from 2Crafty as well as a book page chipboard star from Burdie's Embellies and some wood veneer stars.

I finished off with some red sequins for some Christmas sparkle.

Dusty Attic December Mood Board Challenge

Another gorgeously dramatic mood board this month at Dusty Attic-

Here's what I came up with

I've used the Dusty Attic 'string frames set' as well as a 'monarch butterfly'. I've used Kaisercraft papers and gelatos as well as lace, twine and feathers.

I've used some D'Lish Scraps ombre wordfetti for my title 'hey there handsome', which was inspired by the 'be your own kind of beautiful' quote from the mood board.

I've also used some resin flowers, flair and a sequin bow from D'Lish Scraps, as well as a Butterfly Heart from Charm's Creations.

I've finished off the page with some deep purple rhinestones and some green kindy glitz.

Sketchy Boards/Picture This! December challenges

Today I am joining in on the December challenge at

The challenge this month is a sketch and a colour inspiration

I'm also entering this page in the December challenge at Picture This! Challenges where this month's challenge is 'SHAPES'.

These challenges really inspired me.
Here is what I came up with-

I used some blue sprays on a sheet of Kaisercraft specialty paper from the 'Sea Breeze' collection. I coloured some Dusty Attic chipboard circles  - the thicker circles with Colour Blast 'Bling' colour paste ( I just love that shimmer) and heat embossed the 'string' circles with gold embossing powder.

I have added some chipboard stickers and fussy cut florals from Maggie Holmes 'Gather', as well as a sequin bow and some resin and paper flowers from D'Lish Scraps.

My title chippie is from Words Or Whatever, and I painted this with Dylusions teal paint.

Viva Las Vegastamps! Nov challenge

Today I have made a tag inspired by the November challenge at Viva Las Vegastamps!

Here is my project

I started with a Ranger Kraft tag, then added some background colour with 'Antique Gold' Kaiser mist, Colour Blast 'Bling' colour paste and black ink.

I have used several Viva Las Vegastamps! stamps - the doodle frame stamp (inspired by the doodling on the inspiration board), as well a text stamp for the background.

My title 'you inspire me' is Imaginarium Designs chipboard which I heat embossed.

A have also added a music paper heart from Charm's Creations ( I added some yellow ink splatters), some flourishes and buttons from Scrap Matrix, some paper flowers, doily, resin flowers and sequins from D'Lish Scraps, and some  Studio Calico twine.

Jot Magazine/Dusty Attic November Mood Board challenges

I just love the bright, fresh mood board this month at Jot Magazine

Here is my layout.

My background is Dylusions acrylic paint on white cardstock, with some lime green paint splatters, and stamping with Tim Holtz 'Twisted Citron' ink.

I was also inspired by the mood board challenge at Dusty Attic. The colour palette and the 'Make It Happen' quote really inspired me to scrap this photo of my husband and I after reaching the lookout after a couple of hours of bushwalking.

I have used some Dusty Attic 'Industrial Scrolls' chipboard pieces, which I coloured with Colour Blast colour paste, as well as blue and green acrylic paint.

I've added some wood veneer pieces from Paige Evans 'Fancy Free', as well as some flower wood veneer pieces which I coloured with citron ink.

I've also added some Charm's Creations embellies and a ticket from Flutterby Designs.

SBT50 November challenge - DT share

The November challenge  at Scrapbooking Top 50 Aus is a sketch challenge-

And here is my DT page. I flipped the sketch so the design is down the left hand side of the page. Its such a bright, fun layout to reflect the subjects.

For my background I sprayed different shades of blue mist. I then added some different colours of Colour Blast colour paste through a circle stencil, and then more stencilled circles with a Sharpie pen. I also added some distress stain splatters.

I continued the circle theme with doilies, wood veneer circles, flair and sequins.

I added a couple of elements from the latest D'Lish Scraps 'Just Add Paper' kit. I also added some word strips from Flutterby Designs and some wood veneer from Rainbow Splendour.

I hope you can join in with this month's challenge!

Creative Kit Club November Kit - DT share

Today I am sharing the projects I have designed for the November kit at Creative Kit Club.

This kit features the new 'Party Time' collection from Kaisercraft, and is so chock-a-block full that you will be set for materials for making birthday cards for the rest of the year!

So let's take a look.

My first layout features the fun rainbow washi pack. Quite simple but very effective. I added some Collectables in a couple of clusters then added a title.

My second layout is another fun one.

I've gone for a 'patchwork' design for my next layout. (There are instructions included in the kit for those that have the time and patience lol)

Here's a look at the full background

My next layout is another birthday theme!

I've also made a card

See I mentioned there is SO MUCH in this kit. You can find the kit here. Don't forget if you subscribe for 6 months  you can get a 10% discount (and some other surprises).
