Viva Las Vegastamps! March challenge

Today I am playing along with the March challenge at

I have made two projects inspired by the inspiration image -
a tag and an art journal page.

For my art journal page I started my background with black gesso, then I randomly applied Royalty, Dusty Charcoal and Apple of My Eye Colour Blast Colour Paste with my pallet knife. I held my heat gun very close to dry the colour paste so it would bubble and create more texture.
I then sprayed over some white spray.
I then stamped with  the 'Scribble Circle' stamp and heat embossed with dark pink and green.

I stamped the 'Tired of Trying' stamp on to cardstock and die-cut in a bracket shape for my focal point. I added some more colour paste over the stamping to blend in to the page.

I used the same products on my tag, but this time added the 'Tired of Trying' and the 'Row of Chevrons' stamps over the background. I added some more pink to the background, and added pink embellishments. I stamped the 'Squiggly Star' and 'Made With 'he{art}' stamp onto cardstock then die-cut and added as the sentiment to my tag.

Scrap The Girls March challenge

Today I am playing along with the 'SELFIE' challenge this month at Scrap The Girls

So here is what I came up with. This page is a reminder for myself to keep aiming high and reaching my goals for this year. I've positioned my photo 'peeking out' from under the layers, and I want to remind myself to be brave, and boldly step out in to the light. (For those that follow astrology I am a Cancerian, so very much hiding in my shell so to speak)

My papers are from 7 Dots Studio, Pink Paislee, and Heidi Swapp.

I've used lots of wood veneer but kept it raw. I like how the raw colour pops off the dark background and adds another texture.

I've also added a couple of flair from Fabrika Decoru ( a jar and lightbulb are representations of my creative ambitions).

Creative Kit Club March kit - DT share

Its release day at Creative Kit Club, and the March kit is another kit jam-packed full of lots of gorgeousness. This kit features the "Wildflower" collection from Kaisercraft, and the Creative Kit Club team will show you just how versatile this collection is.

Today I am sharing my DT projects. You can find step-by-step instructions for my layouts in the kit magazine.

My first layout uses lots of florals. I really like how the black elements in this kit is such a contrast to the rest of the palette.

For my second layout I used more of the masculine papers from the kit.

I have also made a couple of cards.

The first card I fussy cut the butterflies from the postcards for more dimension.

For the second card I backed the glass domes with different patterns, once again to add some dimension.

So don't forget to subscribe to save 10%. There is also a little surprise free craft pack for those who start their subscription in March, but you had better be quick!

SBT50 Aust March challenge - DT share

Its a colour challenge this month at

Here is my DT page-

I've used papers from Pink Paislee 'Take Me Away'
and Dear Lizzy 'Saturday' collections.

The Pink Paislee Paige Evans 'Take Me Away' ephemera
was perfect for this colour palette.

I hope you can join us for this month's challenge.

Scrap The Boys March challenge - DT share

Scrap The Boys is getting a little dirty this month - literally. We want to see your boys in the dirt.
Here is my DT layout. My boys' favourite activity would be playing in the dirt, then adding water and consequently ending up covered in mud. Boys will be boys, eh?

I layered up my background with some cardstock and some 12x12 burlap. I created a background on the grey cardstock with Colour Blast colour paste and some stamping.

I layered up lots of textural embellishments - textured paper, metal cogs, cork and paper stickers, resin and chipboard stars.

I hope you can play along with the challenge. We would love to see your messy boys!
